How Metamorph Works
Pieces transform after every move
After you move any piece, all your pieces of certain types instantly transform into a different type. Your opponent's pieces also swap during their turn — both sides go through the same process.

Example: If the active swap is Bishop ↔ Rook, every bishop becomes a rook and every rook becomes a bishop — simultaneously.

Some pieces never transform
Pawns, Queens, and Kings are always protected from swaps. They stay as they are.

Badges show what a piece will become
Every piece that will be affected by the next swap shows a small letter badge in its corner — so you always know what's coming.

Shared vs Separate mode
Both players use the same swap each round. White's pieces transform after White moves. Black's pieces transform after Black moves — using the identical rule.
